OTTO ROTH supplies reliably even sensitive drawing parts as part of a Kanban model.
OTTO ROTH offers its customers a Kanban concept that which works with RFID technology: Each container is equipped with an RFID transponder featuring all important information about the corresponding item. Various variants are available for reading out the data from the tags and automatically triggering an order process: RFID shelf or floor mats on which employees can simply place empty containers, drop-in collection boxes for containers or RFID letter boxes for RFID tags. Other solutions such as RFID gates are also possible on request.

The data is transmitted wirelessly to a central computer - the OTTO ROTH Master Kanban Box. The Master Kanban Box forwards the order to the OTTO ROTH IT system at predefined time intervals via LAN, W-LAN or mobile phone network. Following the order, the container's RFID tags can be blocked for a defined period of time. This prevents articles from being ordered multiple times by mistake. However, if necessary, users can manually change the order quantity and place additional orders.

The Master Kanban box is multifunctional and suitable for reading both RFID tags and barcodes. Thus, users can optimally adapt the Kanban system to their individual needs. They can also make their procurement processes more efficient and significantly accelerate order processing. Clear control functions reduce the error rate when collecting data. Customers benefit from optimal inventory management at low costs.

Upon request, OTTO ROTH also offers full-service support, in which the supplier takes over the entire process right through to filling the shelves at the assembly area - and not only for standard products, but also for pipe fixings and individual drawing parts.
